Mickey Fox
Mickey Fox (they/them) is a queer, Boston-based ceramicist and sculptor. They are a current BFA candidate at Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Their current work is in an exploratory phase, shifting away from a decade of pottery towards sculpture and other mediums. Though clay will always be their first love and comfort zone, now is a moment of growth, expanse, and collaboration among mediums.
Things they love include (but are not limited to): trees, bees, their cats, teaching, when bus drivers honk at each other, clay, a new deck of cards, a beat-up deck of cards, farming, meeting new people, the moon, halloween, ripping paper out of a notebook to give to someone else, heavy metal, radical love, symphonies, iron, baking, nerds, bananagrams, fire, body mods, Mary Oliver, transgenders, dancing, and most importantly, their friends and family.
